Here's a shot taken in my studio, of work in various stages. I'm finding that sometimes I need to "rest" a tile while working on it.
Some just zoom out of the pen; others need a bit of aging.

I agree with you on some tiles needing to rest a bit. Early on I'd often force myself to complete everyone I started - ended up being frustrated and often not liking them as much as others. Now I have a much better sense of when to go and when to stop.
